Before You Buy a Manicure Table - 5 Tips

Some manicure tables may seem quite big in photos but in reality they are much smaller, so always check dimensions carefully. Make sure your desired manicure table will be large enough to enable you to carry out your work in the best quality and utmost comfort. Ensure the dimensions give you enough leg space and that the worktop is large enough for all your work tools and accessories.

2. Think about storage room
Storage room is vital to any professional nail technician to accommodate all those bottles, boxes and tools. When buying your manicure table, ensure there is sufficient storage space (draws and compartments etc) and that everything you need is easily accessible and within reach.

3. Check build material

Some manicure tables are described as being made from melamine but are in fact made of melamine plastic, not of the melamine that is commonly used to produce nail furniture. Choosing a manicure table built from professional material such as melamined boards is beneficial as you will avoid scratches and damage caused by chemicals eg acetone or nail glue. It will also be easier for you to keep your nail station clean. Alternatively, you can choose to buy a wooden nail table, but in choosing this option, make sure the wood is prepared properly.

4. Make sure it’s not flat packed
If your manicure table arrives flat packed you will need the tools and knowledge to assemble it successfully. This may prove difficult as assembling a manicure table can tend to be a drawn out process and quite tiring. Instead of hiring someone to build it for you, why not think about buying a table which is ready to use? You may have to pay a little extra but you will be able to begin your work immediately.

5. Ask about a warranty
Never buy from a seller who doesn't give you any warranty. At least with a warranty, you can be sure of what you are buying. So if you aren’t sure, always ask.
